Using Lingke ultrasonic welding of non-woven materials

Additive-free nonwoven material joining is ideal for the hygiene sector, medical technology as well as cosmetics and care products. Nonwoven materials are composed of individual fibers or continuous filaments (fibers of infinite length) that form a loose cohesion.

Nonwoven materials with thermoplastic components (thermoformed plastics) can be welded using Lingke ultrasonic welding. The plastic part of the material is heated and melted by Lingke ultrasonic waves, and the non-woven materials can be connected (welded) to each other without glue.  ultrasonic welding equipment

Welding process

Ultrasonic waves are generated in the generator and converted into mechanical vibrations by the transducer. It is introduced into the material by the welding horn. The welding tool (base or welding head) focuses ultrasonic energy on the location to be welded and generates frictional heat. In this way, precise welding, pressing or cutting results can be achieved.

A constant distance between the material to be processed and the tool is important for optimal results. This is guaranteed by precise control technology. It ensures that the distance remains constant even if the welding tool changes due to the heat generated.
