Application of Ultrasonic Plastic Welding in Telecommunications Equipment Industry

Bell invented the telephone in 1875. And the radio came out in 1920. For a long time, people have been working on communication facilitation and strengthening cross-regional and cross-domain communication. The importance of telecommunications equipment is also gradually increasing.

With the advent of the 5G era. Telecommunication equipment has put forward higher requirements for its precision, stability, endurance and aesthetics. The concept of sustainable development also promotes the processing and production of telecommunication equipment to be further clean, green and recyclable.

Ultrasonic welding plays an important role in the processing and production of telecommunications equipment. The ultrasonic welding process can not only meet the welding requirements of high precision and stable output in the production and processing of telecommunications equipment. But also provide more stable ultrasonic embedding for the nut embedding that needs to more tightly welded.

Ultrasonic welding plays an important role in the processing and production of the telecommunications equipment industry. Lingke Ultrasonic is committed to the R&D and production of high-performance ultrasonic plastic welding equipment. And professional docking manufacturers provide ultrasonic welding services.

According to the actual welding effect and the constantly upgraded welding needs. We will continue to improve, and carry out high-precision, high-strength output welding of mobile phone cases, mobile phone chargers, power adapters and other communication equipment and related accessories!

Principle of Ultrasonic Welding

Insertion of metal pieces

A metal piece such as a threded insert or bolt has to embedded into an existing hole in a plastic part. The metal piece is contacted by the oscillating horn, which creates friction between the two parts melting the plastic material. The machine pressure displaces the now, elted material into the structure on the metal part surface. Once the displaced materal has solidified the inserted piece remains tightly seated and resists to tensional as well as to torsion forces.

Ultrasonic welding is a high technology that can applied to all hot melt plastic products. No need solvent, adhesive or other auxiliary materials. Improve productivity, low cost, improve product quality and production safety.

Ultrasonic welding. It converts the mains AC (190-240V, 50/60Hz) into high-frequency high-voltage signals through the power supply box, and then converts the signals into high-frequency mechanical vibrations through the converter system, and adds them to the plastic products. High-speed friction occurs between the two parts of the plastic product, and the temperature rises. When the temperature reaches the melting point of the product itself, the joint of the product melts rapidly. And the product is cooled and shaped under a certain pressure, so as to achieve perfect welding.
